Airport Pick-up and transfer to San Jose Hotel
Welcome to beautiful Costa Rica, Meet and Orientation. Go Visit Costa Rica will make special arrangements to have representative in the entry of the airport. Outside the arrival areas, look for our representative who will be holding a white board with your last name on. Our driver will provide assistance with luggage and private transportation to the hotel in San Jose.

Navigating the water canals to Tortuguero

Day 2:
Transfer for Tortuguero Package
Early departure to Caño Blanco, the departure pier where you take the boat to the Tortuguero National Park. En route we cross the famous Braulio Carrillo National Park, second largest national park in Costa Rica. Within this forest you will find a combination of three kinds of forests: rain forest, tropical humid forest and cloud forest. On the way, we will stop for breakfast for a typical Costa Rican breakfast, following breakfast we visit a Banana plantation. We will then continue to the pier to board the boat in which we navigate the Tortuguero canals and rivers before arriving at the lodge. After lunch, departure for a visit to the village of Tortuguero and the Corporation for Turtle Conservation located in the village. Later we return to the lodge to enjoy the facilities of the property.

Day 3:
Discover Costa Rican flavors as you enjoy breakfast at selected hotel in Tortuguero.

The adventure continues, this time by boat visiting secondary canals and tributaries of the park. It is a great chance to see crocodiles and other reptiles, as well as 3 species of monkeys and other mammals, and a large number of species of birds among these the famous Toucan. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon you can take a self guided hike of the property trails or just relax taking advantage of the comfortable facilities of the lodge. At night, if in season (July to September) you can hire (not included) the famous night tour to see the turtles nesting.

OPTIONAL NIGHT TOUR: Walk on the beach and admire the green turtles nesting (July through September). (B/L/D).

Day 4:
Breakfast and departure to the Arenal area. Lunch at El Ceibo restaurant. After lunch, board Interbus towards the famous Arenal Volcano.

Day 5:

Free Morning in Arenal Volcano
You may want to enjoy one of the many beautiful spa's or just relax by the pool to take in the beautiful views of the Arenal Volcano. Or you can choose one of our optional tours such as the Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge, where you will take a boat tour and you can see white-faced monkeys, sloths, crocodiles, red frogs, toucans, and more. You can also choose to walk at your own pace on the Suspended Bridges and take in the sights of the forest with the beautiful Arenal Volcano in the background. There are also the adrenaline filled Canopy Tours (zip lines), where you will zip through the forest in this fun filled adventure.

Day 6, 7, 8:

After breakfast a transfer will pick you up to the small town of Manuel Antonio, located on the central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica with its white sandy beaches and its famous National Park. From today and for the next two days (until day 8) are free days for leisure at the beautiful beach. You are encouraged to discover Manuel Antonio National Park as well as the many activities in this area including: White Water Rafting, Canoeing to the Damas Island, the Sunset Catamaran Sailing Tour, or Sport fishing Tour just to name a few.
