This currently strong developing area is 15.5 miles south of Dominical and 4 miles south of Uvita. It is about 185 km from San Jose and 30 minutes from the Quepos Airport.
Cristal Ballena is situated in a grand scale of 12 hectare (30-acre) private tropical garden, embedded on a hill between the Pacific Ocean and rainforest-covered mountains.
This unique position allows breathtaking ocean views while a cooling breeze is coming from the mountains. Especially the daily sunsets are occasions in your life you will never forget.
The resort is built in a very generous way with lots of green areas. All buildings are designed in elegant Mediterranean style and it offers 18 Suites, from which 15 are Junior Suites, 2 are Master Suites and 2 are Family Suites, all equipped with air conditioning, mini bar, telephone for local and international calls, coffee maker, satellite TV, hot shower, hair dryer, fan and safe.

"I had a wonderul time in the Hotel Resort Crisal Ballena this year!! The hotel has got a wonderful location with a breathtaking ocean view and it ist situated next to the jungle, so you can see many animals just arround the hotel like Toucans, monkeys, birds, very big butterflies, .... Every day they served special national and international food in the different restaurants and special sorts of wine! I had the chance to take part at some tours that are offered from the hotel!! I really enjoyed the time there and I hope to come back here soon, because people are as well so nice and friedly and helpfull there!!!"
