Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge is one of the closest lodges next to Corcorvado National Park on the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica. This luxury lodge offers first class accommodations, service and activities in a very remote and natural environment. The lodge is perched above a palm lined beach in Drake Bay and it is surrounded by 170 acres of rainforest. Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge was built with the environment in mind while taking advantage of the beautiful views of the rainforest.
Situated near the Pacific Ocean and tucked into the breathtakingly beautiful Costa Rican rainforest, Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge features 170 acres of private reserve. The reserve and lodge were built by an American naturalist who has lived in and maintained the area for more than 35 years.
The entire property was created to provide a comfortable and relaxing spot for vacationers. Near the manager's office is the largest of the lodge's two outdoor pools. El Solar is divided into shallow and deep ends to ensure a safe spot for the youngest swimming, and lounge chairs and tables dot the area surrounding the pool to offer comfortable sunbathing. A small snack bar provides light lunches. The smaller of the two properties is known as The Forest. This spring-fed pool is hidden in the forest and has a natural stream beside it. It is the perfect secluded spot to relax and listen to the sounds of nature. Nearby, a 500-meter, palm-lined, tropical sand beach provides another swimming spot for those who prefer natural waves. A waterfall completes the serene beach setting.
Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge employs a licensed massage therapist to provide guests with rejuvenating massage treatments. Cynthia has worked for the hotel for many years and specializes in Thai and bamboo massages using organic tropical ingredients with natural healing properties. After their massages, guests can head to Margarita Sunset Point where they can sip a margarita or another cold drink as they look out over the ocean and enjoy the gorgeous view. Salon Corcovado provides another option. This indoor space offers billiards, games and a small library.
The hotel also features two separate dining and bar areas. Los Vitroles offers a delicious, stylish and original menu that features a range of dishes created with locally sourced ingredients and fresh fruits and vegetables. The atmosphere is casual yet elegant and perfect for families. The nearby bar, El Bosque, offers a relaxing open-air design that is perfect for sipping an adult beverage or non-alcoholic fruit drink while watching birds, monkeys and other animals. Other amenities include a gift shop, laundry service, a safe at the front desk and concierge services.
