The Hotel Luisiana is a boutique hotel located close to the Santa Ana Business Center. Built in the 1950s, the architectural design was inspired by the Louisiana home of the original American owner. When the new owners came from Italy in 2008, they completely remodeled the hotel but kept many of its quaint American Southern charm. This provides the perfect mixture of comfort and style from which to enjoy all that Costa Rica has to offer.
As you walk through the lobby, you will see a fusion of the beautiful traditional Louisiana style, including the original stonework of the hotel imbued with contemporary touches. You can also enjoy dining at the restaurant decorated with natural stone and Italian painted wood pieces. The restaurant offers breakfast every morning and dinner from 6 pm to 9 pm. The menu features international cuisine, as well as many authentic Italian specialties. For breakfast, you can choose from Italian American classics or stick to a continental breakfast. Those staying in the suites can take advantage of the nearby Fresh Market to buy fresh groceries and cook for yourself.
After a long day of traveling or walking around town, relax at the outdoor pool and spa. Parents traveling with their children can relax while their little ones play in the children's pool or the onsite playground. Most rooms have Apple computers so you can check your email, post pictures of your adventure on social media or perform any work that might pop up without having to worry about carting your own computer with you. With free WiFi, you can also access the internet with any devices you have brought with you.
There are plenty of options for tours to explore Costa Rica while staying at the Hotel Luisiana. Master suite
The standard amenities for rooms include a 32 to 42-inch flat screen TV with 120 channels from which to choose and WiFi internet. Dine in your room with the mini-fridge, microwave and kitchen. Do not worry about getting too hot with the split air conditioning in each room. Rooms also have telephones with free national and international calls to 37 countries. Relax after a long day in roomy bathtubs or rainfall showers and then sleep in comfort on the comfort get pillow top beds.
Standard - Standard rooms come with one double bed, as well as the basic amenities mentioned above.
Deluxe - Deluxe rooms come with the option for one king bed or two queen beds as well as the standard amenities.
Master Suite - Master suites include one king size bed and one twin bed to sleep up to three people. It also includes a bathtub and rainfall shower as well as a wide verandah with beautiful views.
Kitchen Suite - Kitchen suites are similar to master suites but also come with a fully-equipped kitchen as well as a dining room that has a table and four chairs.
Apartment Suite - Those wishing for more space can take advantage of the apartment suite.
Dining - Enjoy eating at the onsite restaurant and get a taste of Italy during your Costa Rican adventure. You can also find an array of restaurant choices in close proximity to the hotel offering local and international cuisine.

"What is more delicious than being away from home and feeling that where you are could be home! At Ivan and Elena's Hotel Luisiana the rooms are big, there is plenty of room to move around in even if you wanted to dance. The beds are wonderfully comfortable, the bathroom a real delight, the kitchenette a perfect addition and the wooden desk to work on wireless a definite plus. Wait until you taste Elena's italian espresso and you don't want to leave. Congratulations Ivan and Elena to the start of a successful business. I wish you all the best!"
