The rooms at Rio Perdido Hotel & Thermal River consist of 30 bungalows designed with a unique mix of modern stylings and sustainability practices. The interiors feature natural materials like wood and rope accents alongside concrete floors and stainless steel surfaces, reflecting the careful balance between the natural and manmade worlds that is embodied by the hotel.
Bungalows feature spacious interiors surrounded by windows, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the views of the jungle, or to draw the curtains for privacy as needed. All rooms are outfitted with private bathrooms with showers, flat-screen or projection TVs, and free WiFi for guest convenience. Bungalows come in three different styles: East, Center King, and Center Queen.
East Bungalows
East Bungalows come with a pair of twin beds that can be pushed together to form a king bed, as well as a trundle bed. The rooms are especially versatile for people traveling solo or in a small group, and can accommodate both couples and parents traveling with a single child.
Amenities include a work desk, access to an elevated terrace with an outdoor hammock, an in-room coffee station, a minifridge, and spacious closet. Bathrooms have lighted makeup mirrors, sandblasted windows for maximum privacy and ceramic tile and glass accents.
Center Bungalow King
The lush surrounding forest is on full display through the floor-to-ceiling windows featured in the Center Bungalow King. Steel and copper finishes accent singed wood walls treated with a Japanese burning technique that gives them a modern look you have to see to believe!
The King Center bungalows have a king bed and two twins, making them the ideal choice for families or groups. At 750 square feet, the bungalows are spacious and come with a side-by-side outdoor shower within a steel shell for 100% privacy. Bungalows also include a terrace with hammock and AV system with roll-away, high-definition projector plus pull-down screen and sound bar.
Center Bungalow Queen
Queen Center bungalows have two queen beds making them a perfect choice for friends or families. Like the Center Bungalow King rooms, this layout also features floor-to-ceiling windows, providing a panoramic view of the forest, as well as interiors furnished with warm wood tones and a volcanic rock floor to provide a more immersive experience.
At similar size to the Center King Bungalow rooms and double the size of the East Bungalows, they also come with double private outdoor showers, a spacious terrace, and an AV system consisting of a high-definition projector, pull-down screen, and sound bar.
