Both restaurants on the resort offer international and local cuisine, and the sports bar and casino on the property are open late each night. There is also a poolside bistro if you get hungry while swimming.
Because it is one of the most reasonably priced hotel options in the Quepos and Manuel Antonio region, Byblos has been a popular destination for lodging, entertainment and dining in Costa Rica for over 20 years. You can indulge in a relaxing massage, take in an evening show, gamble, or float in the pool all while surrounded by the sights and sounds of the jungle. "I'm writing on behalf of my family and it was our first time in Costa Rica. There were 6 of us raging from ages 12 to 79 and we all had an amazing time. Whether we were on the breathtaking Canopy zip-line tour or just sitting by the pool during a brief late-afternoon rain shower, drinking delicious coffee, there was always something for all of us to do. We felt comfortable and relaxed and were constantly amazed by nature’s inhabitants which surrounded us at Byblos. Monkeys, sloths, exotic birds, butterflies, iguanas ...! The two restaurant and bars on the hotel grounds were convenient and the service and food were consistently good - along with the well-scheduled nightlife if you choose to participate. The staff was helpful and warm, an attitude starting at the top with owners Sari and her husband, who were always present and informative. Byblos offered us a home-style feel where as a single woman, a young couple, a young child, and the young at heart we all felt equally satisfied. Before we even left we decided to bring the rest of our family back to Byblos next August and are in the process of reserving our rooms! We can't wait to get back to Costa Rica…"

"I love this hotel! The staff is friendly and eager to be helpful. They do everything from cheerfully greeting you and taking you to your room or bungalow, to booking tours and asking your opinion of the tour upon your return.
The rooms are clean and our hotel room was huge. I have also stayed in the Bungalows and they are cute - you feel like you've stepped back in time and are living in a treehouse.
MONKEYS GALORE - This is the place if you want to see monkeys. We saw white faced monkeys twice a day, every day. The Howler monkeys camped out a few nights outside the restaurant by the pool. They were a bit noisy, but what a treat to see them up close. Also saw Titi monkeys a few times coming through the trees while sitting by the pool.
Food is good at both restaurants, and we played pool at the bar nightly - if you like pool, they have plenty of tables and a great bar staff to play with if you don't have a partner.
Everyone is friendly and you'll have a great time!"
