Hotel Arenas en Punta Leona is the perfect destination for your next getaway. This all-inclusive resort features 153 smoke-free rooms, two restaurants, three bars, a nightclub, an impressive outdoor pool and more. The friendly staff at the hotel's 24-hour reception desk are happy to assist you when you arrive and to do whatever they can to make your stay a happy one.
The resort's ideal location on the gorgeous Central Pacific coast means you're never far from the shore. You can walk to the beach at Playa Mantas in about 10 minutes, where you can stroll, beachcomb, swim, snorkel or participate in other water sports.
The San José airport is a little over an hour away by car, and an airport shuttle is available for an extra charge. A local shuttle is also available to help you get around when you're ready to explore the area and experience the nearby beaches, aerial tram or go horseback riding. There is also an interesting kayak tour at nearby Jacó, and you might even see some exotic animals, like scarlet macaws. The Punta Leona Wildlife Refuge, a 750-acre nature reserve, is close by, as is Carara National Park.
Back at the resort, indulge yourself with a rejuvenating treatment at the full-service spa (not part of the all-inclusive package), hit the gym, relax by the pool or enjoy your downtime with the free in-room Wi-Fi. Most of the resort's 153 rooms are situated around the pool, which takes center stage on the property. Three types of rooms are available: standard, superior and accessible. Each room features two double beds, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, cable TV, an alarm clock, a mini-fridge and a coffee maker.
Standard Room - Most of the standard rooms have a view of the pool (from the balcony) or pool access (ground floor).
Superior Room - These rooms each have an in-room Jacuzzi in addition to the shower and have a balcony with a pool view.
Accessible Room - Accessible rooms each have a roll-in shower and are located on the ground floor with pool access.

Kids' Activities - The recreation staff at Hotel Arenas en Punta Leona works hard to make sure the kids have fun. From puppets to clowns to the occasional visit from a popular children's character, the little ones always have something to look forward to. "What a nice surprise was finding this All Inclusive in Costa Rica for our family vacation. We know that All Inclusives usually are not that good in terms of food or rooms, but let me tell you,this was different. Theme food time in the restaurants was very nice and different. Delicious food and good quality of drinks. One of the biggest pools for an All Inclusive with a few tico families having fun. Rooms were clean, spacious and in a very good location facing the pool. Too bad the beach is kind of far..."
