The tour takes approximately 6 hours to complete. During this time, group members will have the chance to participate in a variety of activities, including optional swimming.
Ziplining
The majority of the tour comprises 5 hours of ziplining, with 25 cables over 11 waterfalls. Fly over the green wilderness and keep an eye out for the native wildlife, such as the white-face capuchin monkey and a variety of colorful birds. Bringing a camera is encouraged, so take the time to capture the gorgeous scenery unique to Costa Rica.
You’ll also get the chance to cross a hanging bridge during the course of the tour, as well as rappel at two points along the journey. One instance allows you to rappel 180 feet (56 meters) beside an actual waterfall, where you can feel the spray and experience the thrill of being right in the middle of the action.
Safety is a top priority, so you can feel comfortable even when sightseeing from above. All ziplines are outfitted with a state-of-the-art braking system and the friendly guides ensure that everyone in the group understands ziplining best practices before commencing the tour.
Swim in a Mountain Spring
During your excursion, you’ll also have the opportunity to wade in a mountain spring, sheltered beneath the rainforest canopy. Participants interested in taking a swim are advised to wear bathing suits under their clothes.
Lunch at El Tucan
At the tour’s conclusion, you’ll be treated to lunch at the park’s El Tucan restaurant. This outdoor eatery serves all kinds of international cuisine and boasts an astounding view of the ocean and countryside. Enjoy your meal beside a breath-taking view you can’t find anywhere else.
