"We arrived late in the evening (roughly 10:30)...We were over 1.5hrs late. The Adobe car rental people usually wait for you with a sign, but he had gone already since we were so delayed...We were a bit scared at first because we did not have a back up plan or know how to get around in the country. However, I called Adobe and they have an emergency option which took us to a live person right away..
They sent the driver to come get us. In total I would say we waited less than 20 minutes, so we were pleased!
The process of getting the car was super smooth. Don't forget to print your credit card letter showing coverage etc. to help things go quicker.
We were on our way very quickly. We did not have any issues with our vehicle, but realized on the second day we did not get the GPS and WIFI we had paid for. I called them and they had a driver meet us with the two items the next day. It was on our way to our next stop and the timing was perfect. They accommodated us completely! You could definitely say we felt like VIP or celebrities with this company. No issues on the return and they even refunded us for the first few days that we didn't have the wifi and GPS. 100% would never rent anywhere else when we go back to Costa Rica. " | | |

"I cant say enough about my experience with Adobe rent a car in Liberia Costa Rica. They picked us up at the airport, had our car ready to go, we were in and out in 10 minutes. We paid for four weeks, hurricane Nate hit us the night we arrived. We had no power, water, food, or much of anything else for four days. When the floods subsided we managed to turn in the car and get to the airport to get on a wait list back home. No questions ask, Adobe refunded our credit card, United Airlines got us home with no change of reservations charges, and we are now back home safe and sound with no regrets. " | | |

"We have used Adobe on a regular basis after having a bad experience with another car rental company in Costa Rica. Their vehicles have always been clean and low kilometers. We always get an all wheel drive with automatic.
Their quoted rates, including complete insurance, have always been what we paid with no attempt to charge us for things we do not need.
I recommend them before any other rental company. They pick up at the airport and drive you back when done.

"I reserved a car by phone one day before arriving to Costa Rica, personal was very friendly and knowledgeable, very competitive prices as well. They picked me up at the airport and took me to their office, after signing the paperwork and inspecting the car with their representative I was ready to go, I immediately noticed two cracks in the windshield, and took a photo with the stamped date and time on it, just in case. I drove a newer model car without a problem for 10 days however, when I was returning the car the guy noticed the small cracks and he was getting ready to start a claim to make me pay for the cracks so I told him those cracks were there before picking up the car and the inspection guy missed them and he said "no, it is not on the inspection report, you did it and you have to pay for it" , then I remembered my picture and told him I had proof and he got confused but after checking the picture he accepted it wasn't me and returned my deposit. I don't know if they knew about the cracks before and ignore them on purpose and see if somebody else could pay for it and how many times they have done this or if it was an honest mistake, just be aware and check the car thoroughly and take pictures of everything otherwise you could have some headaches, miss your flight and lastly pay for something you didn't break.
