Hotel Brilla Sol rancho at night
Most people expect an airport hotel to be fairly basic and utilitarian. At Brilla Sol Airport Hotel, your expectations will be turned upside down. So, whether you're arriving in Costa Rica or about to depart, you should check out Brilla Sol Airport Hotel on the way.
This hotel is conveniently located in the town of Alajuela, which sits about 20 kilometers away from Costa Rica's capital city of San José. The hotel is in a prime location for travelers coming directly from San José's Juan Santamaría International Airport, being about four kilometers away from the terminal. If you have an early morning flight departing back to your hometown, it may make sense to book a room the night before at the Brilla Sol Airport Hotel. Or, if your flight arrives late at night into Costa Rica, you can spend a day recharging here at the hotel. The hotel is also a great place to base yourself for the entire length of your Costa Rican vacation for maximum value and comfort during your stay.
While you're waiting for your next flight or recovering from your time onboard, you can relax and rest at the hotel's refreshing pool. Or, you can indulge in a spa treatment or soothing massage at the property. There is plenty of free parking on-site if you have a car, or you can take advantage of the free airport shuttle to transport you to the terminal quickly and conveniently.
All hotel guests get access to the daily breakfast buffet that features Costa Rican dishes and favorites. The hotel restaurant also provides lunch and dinner service, featuring pizza, wine, beer and other mixed drinks.
During your visit, you should explore the capital region of Costa Rica and other locations near the hotel. You can check out downtown San José, which is about 25 minutes away. You'll see sights related to Costa Rican culture and history in this important city. Or, you can venture further into the rest of this Central American country and check out cloud forests, gorgeous beaches and wildlife reserves.
Hotel Brilla Sol is located 4 km west from the International Airport in “El Roble de Alajuela” and is an excellent strategic place in which you can start and finish to plan and enjoy your trip.

"The employees were very pleasant, accomodating and helpful. They coordinated half our Costa Rica visit for us, including tours. The hotel was charming with lush gardens, included an ample and tasty breakfast in the very reasonable price, and located in a convenient and safe neighborhood."

"This family-run hotel is charming, with beautifully maintained gardens and very good food. All of the people there went out of their way to make our stay pleasant and help us with tours and questions. I just got back to the States a week ago, and I'm already planning my next vacation to Costa Rica. I will definitely go to Hotel Brillasol again."

"This hotel is in a very noisy location. It is in a residential neighbourhood with dogs barking late into the evening and roosters crowing early in the morning. The hotel is also on a flight path to Juan Santamaria so large aircraft were flying in during the night. While the rooms were nice, the staff pleasant, and the breakfast included in the rate was good, I found it very hard to get a good night's sleep. Come with earplugs."
