All Inclusive Resorts in South Puntarenas
One of the best parts about visiting South Puntarenas is how remote it is. What’s better is that the resorts that have been built in the area are crafted to blend in with and respect the natural environment. Sound like a place you want to visit? We thought so! If you’re planning on visiting this area, you’re going to want to plan on staying at an all-inclusive resort, and using their resources for your adventures.
Why All-Inclusive?
The answer to this is simple – in many parts of South Puntarenas it is so remote, that most of the time you must use an all-inclusive resort, since there aren’t really any other restaurants or activities nearby. If you feel bummed about using an all-inclusive resort, keep in mind the benefits in South Puntarenas, including reduced stress and hassles and a ton of adventure. You don’t have to start your planning from scratch; you can simply review what your resort offers to choose your activities.
Worried that staying at a resort is going to take away from you enjoying the natural environment? Fear not! The resorts here don’t fight the environment, they work with it! Many of the resorts in South Puntarenas are ecolodges and they blend with the environment so that guests can still enjoy the surrounding forests and nearby beaches.
What’s Included?
South Puntarenas all-inclusives may not offer you the same benefits as some of the more traditional locations in Costa Rica. Likely, your roundtrip airfare and airport transportation will be included. Beyond that, it depends on where you are staying. Most all-inclusives offer on-site meals as part of their packages. Drinks are often included also, but many just offer non-alcoholic drinks; wine, beer and specialty drinks will all be an extra charge. In general, all-inclusives are focused on meeting your needs, so often times you’ll find that childcare and local adventure tours are included as well. It is unlikely to find any entertainment packages included with South Puntarenas packages, as the natural environment really does serve as entertainment, and offers so much to do. This isn’t the type of place that you visit if you are interested in sitting indoors all night watching shows!
