How to Save Money

Consider traveling during the ‘rainy’ or ‘green’ season, which lasts from May to November. This is the slower time of year for tourists, so hotel are more likely to reduce their rates. Don't worry it does not typically rain all day only in the afternoon leaving your mornings with beautiful sunshine and green forests everywhere!

Travel Tips

Travel the off the beaten track, the Caribbean side of Costa Rica known as Limon is beautiful and has much less tourism so you will deal with less people and the hotel rates are much more affordable there too, bonus! Be sure that your perfect trip isn’t ruined by unavailability –make reservations for your room in advance. Peak season typically includes the Christmas / News Years & Easter holidays so advanced reservations are highly recommended if you plan to visit during those times.
